The Workshop in Business Opportunities (WIBO), hosted at Queens College, is a 16-week program that brings practical business education, expert guidance, and peer support to help Queens entrepreneurs start, strengthen, and grow their businesses.
WIBO Grow is designed for people who are ready to do the work, not just dream about it. TIQC hosts this cohort at Queens College, connects participants to local resources, and supports applications and scholarships.

WIBO Grow meets once a week for 3 hours, typically in the evenings from 6:00–9:00 PM. The program runs for 16 weeks, plus a Week 0 orientation.
The program investment is $360. Limited scholarships and payment options may be available based on eligibility and available funding. You may request scholarship consideration when completing the TIQC interest form, but assistance is not guaranteed.
Absolutely. WIBO Grow is designed for idea-stage entrepreneurs. You'll start with clarity - your goals, strengths, and market - then move into structured steps covering validation, setup, pricing, and early traction.
You'll graduate with a complete, practical business plan covering your business model, marketing strategy, financial projections, operations, personnel, and legal structure, plus the peer relationships built within your cohort.
WIBO Grow provides funding education, lender connections, and pitch preparation. While the program doesn't provide direct funding, it helps you become fundable and confident when approaching capital sources.
This Fall 2026 cohort is hosted through the Tech Incubator at Queens College (TIQC), located at 65-30 Kissena Blvd., CEP Hall 2, Queens, NY 11367.
