Brown Bag Lunch Talk at TIQC: Cybersecurity Careers

At this in-person event, participants will learn the different career paths in cybersecurity and the skills and qualifications needed for these roles. They will also get information on job opportunities, industry trends, and certifications that can enhance career prospects.

Gudest speaker: Avi Bulka

Avi Bulka (CUNY ‘20) studied computer science and cybersecurity at Queens College and John Jay College of Criminal Justice, earning his Bachelor of Science degree through the CUNY BA program. He is currently a Cybersecurity Engineer at Schonfeld Strategic Advisors, a global multi-manager hedge fund, where he has been since the summer of 2020. He holds both the CompTIA Security+ and CySa+ certifications, and is an Associate of ISC2, specializing in Information Security Leadership & Operations. During his free time, Avi volunteers as a roadside assistance technician, and sits on the board of two non-profit organizations. Additionally, he will be pursuing his MBA at the Kelley School of Business @ Indiana University beginning in the fall of 2023.
